Our aggregate products are sourced from our own quarry and trusted local suppliers across the Hunter region. Every product is consistent in quality and grading, making them suitable for concrete batching, asphalt production, drainage systems and general construction. Aggregates for concrete, sprayed seal and asphalt are covered by the AS 2758 series (AS 2758.1 concrete aggregates, AS 2758.2 sprayed bituminous surfacing aggregates and AS 2758.5 asphalt aggregates), with additional NSW requirements under TS 00062. If you need a product we don’t usually stock, our sourcing team can find it for you through our network of local quarries and suppliers.
What Are Aggregates?
Aggregates are crushed rock, gravel and sand products used as components in concrete, asphalt and construction applications. They typically make up 60-80% of the volume in concrete and asphalt mixes, providing strength, stability and bulk to the finished product.
Aggregates are classified by size and grading. Single-sized aggregates contain particles within a narrow size range, such as 7mm, 10mm, 14mm or 20mm. These are used where a specific particle size is required, such as in concrete mixes or exposed aggregate finishes. Blended aggregates combine multiple size fractions for applications like asphalt production or general construction fill.
Coarse aggregates are particles larger than 4.75mm, used in concrete, drainage and road construction. Fine aggregates are smaller than 4.75mm and include manufactured sand and crusher dust, used in concrete, mortar and bedding applications. For fine aggregate products, see our sand and dust range.

20mm Aggregate
Our 20mm aggregate is a single-sized crushed rock product widely used in concrete production and drainage applications. This versatile product provides excellent strength characteristics and consistent grading for reliable concrete performance.

14mm Aggregate
Our 14mm aggregate is a mid-range single-sized product suitable for concrete, asphalt and exposed aggregate applications. The 14mm size provides a good balance between workability and strength.

10mm Aggregate

7mm Aggregate
Our 7mm aggregate is a fine single-sized product ideal for sealing, asphalt and specialty concrete applications. This smaller aggregate provides excellent surface finish characteristics.

20/14 Blend
Our 20/14 blend combines 20mm and 14mm aggregates for applications requiring a graded coarse aggregate. This blended product is commonly used in concrete and asphalt production where a continuous grading improves workability and finished strength.

10/7 Blend

Drainage Aggregate
Our drainage aggregate is a clean, single-sized product designed for use in drainage systems, filter layers and stormwater management applications. The open grading allows water to flow freely while providing structural support.
Applications: Subsurface drainage systems. Stormwater detention and retention systems. Filter layers behind retaining walls. Septic system drainage fields. French drains and agricultural drainage.
Specifications: Clean, single-sized aggregate with minimal fines. Available in various sizes to suit drainage requirements. For stormwater drainage, we supply to the TfNSW R11 specification (now published as TS 03254.1 Stormwater Drainage).
